2008 Board of Directors’ Reception

ABLE hosted its first annual reception for local African-American members of corporate, non-profit and government boards of directors on July 17, 2008, at The Chicago Club in Chicago, Illinois.  A highlight of the evening was a brief panel discussion moderated by ABLE member John Rogers, Chairman and CEO of Ariel Investments.  Panelists included Frank Clark, President, ComEd; Cheryle A. Jackson, President, Chicago Urban League; Carole L. Brown, Senior Vice President, Lehman Brothers; and Professor Steven Rogers, Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Business.
