Professional Background
Walter Grady served in the United States Air Force from 1960 – 1965, immediately after attending Morehouse College where he studied Business Administration. From 1965 – 1967, he worked for the United States Postal Service. Afterwards he worked as the Accrual Accountant for Continental Illinois National Bank & Trust Company, and then the Business Manager for Marcy-Newberry Association from 1969 – 1972. Walter Grady has since been the President and CEO for Seaway National Bank of Chicago for the last 22 years.
