Prior to founding Edge Technological Resources, Inc., Steele was in management with the IBM Corporation. She managed a team of marketing and technical professionals supporting large government and educational clients. Steele has more than 20 years experience in the computer industry and has received numerous awards for her professional accomplishments.

Steele has a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and has completed an entrepreneurship program at Purdue University.
