Professional Background

William Bonaparte, Jr., began his career in the Telecommunications industry working at Illinois Bell Telephone Co. (now Ameritech) as the Company's first black PBX equipment installer. His career in the telecommunications industry included serving as a Manager of Personnel, Wire Chief, Installation Superintendent and eventually a Manager of Business Services. In 1984, he joined AT&T Information Systems as an Area Manager for the Chicago Region. Later he became the Area Staff Manager for Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio and, shortly afterward, he formed his first business.

Education/Awards

Mr. Bonaparte has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering. He has received numerous awards and recognition, some of which include: The AT&T Prestigious Keystone Award for Excellence, The Cosmopolitan Chamber of Commerce and Kennedy King College Small Business of the Year Award, The Cosmopolitan Chamber of Commerce Bronze Hard Hat Award for Excellence in Construction, The State of Illinois MED Week Minority Business of the Year Award for High Technology.
